Northern Container’s Steel Pails are durable, making them useful in a variety of applications. Steel Tight Head pails are great for storing products, shipping, and handling liquids including heated materials, oils, paint and chemicals, as well as being used in-house for multiple applications. Our pails are made by Mauser Packaging, in the USA, with 25% recycled content. Our steel pails are 100% recyclable, making them environmentally friendly.
All pails, standard or UN-rated, feature a double-welded seam to ensure product integrity. Northern Container stock Tight Head Steel Pails from 1 gallon to 5 gallons. Being a distributor allows Northern Container the ability to sell a single pail for personal use or in bulk/wholesale to a business. Most stock items do not require a minimum order. All pails stocked at our Alsip, IL warehouse are available to ship Next Business Day.
Special orders are available in many different sizes, ranging from 1 gallon to 10 gallons, with a UN Rating or as a non-rated Standard pail. Steel pails are available ranging from 30 gauge to 24 gauge and with multiple lining options including; Unlined, which is a spray-on Clear Rust Inhibitor, or a baked-on lining of an Epoxy Phenolic (Buff or Red Brown) or 100% Phenolic (Gold).
